Stratasys F3300 3D Printer

Stratasys F3300 FDM 3D Printer

Fused deposition modeling (FDM) 3D Printing is an Additive Manufacturing (AM) process that creates a three-dimensional object from a digital model by depositing melted material one layer at a time. FDM is the most widely used 3D Printing technology, and it is known for its affordability, versatility, and ease of use. FDM works by extruding a thermoplastic filament through a heated nozzle. The filament is melted as it passes through the nozzle, and it is then deposited onto the build platform in a predetermined pattern. The build platform is lowered after each layer is deposited, and the process is repeated until the object is complete. FDM printers can be used to print a wide variety of materials, including ABS, PLA, PETG, and nylon. These materials can be used to create prototypes, functional parts, and even finished products.

F3300 3D Printer – Raising the Bar
The F3300 3D printer from Stratasys works on FDM, and is the company's most sophisticated industrial 3D printer to date. The F3300 is designed to help manufacturers scale production and reduce costs. Thanks to advancements like linear motors and encoders for fast, precise extruder movement, four extruders with a patented automatic tool (extruder) changer for multi-resolution printing and system redundancy, the F3300 produces significant enhancements in speed, throughput, reliability and quality. The enhanced material dryers for optimal material characteristics, and auto calibration to reduce labour and operator input ensures faster print speeds, maximized uptimes, and lower printing costs. The F3300 redefines state of the art for FDM technology with completely redesigned hardware and software. The included GrabCAD Print™, GrabCAD Print Pro™ and Insight software facilitates a simple CAD-to-part workflow and detailed toolpath and print management. MTConnect is included for factory floor connectivity as well.

The F3300 is indeed a high-throughput 3D printer that utilizes next-level FDM technology for lower overall cost per part. It is expected to be a popular choice for manufacturers in a variety of industries, including aerospace, automotive, consumer products, and healthcare. It is particularly well-suited for applications where high part quality and repeatability are critical, such as the production of prototypes, tooling, and end-use parts.
